A few dressy New Year’s Eve Looks

December 29, 2018

I’m definitely more of a stay at home kind of gal for New Year’s Eve whether it’s just with my hubs cooking a 3 course meal or being at our friend’s house in my pj’s. I also have friends that love throwing house parties and get all dressed up or go out to dinner then back to the house to celebrate. Either way, causal outfits are easy to put together for New Years, but dressy outfits can be a little harder. So I’ve found a few outfits and styled them different ways from H&M.

Velvet Jumpsuit

One look I’m absolutely in love with, is this velvet jumpsuit. It’s so soft, stretchy and great for tall girls. Jumpsuits can be real annoying when they are too short and pull up on us taller girls in all the wrong spots. This one is so perfect and true to size. There are only a few sizes left online, but some stores still have it in stock. I’ve styled it a few different ways below for you with their links.

  • Velvet jumpsuit with Blazer
  • Velvet jumpsuit with Sweater
  • Velvet jumpsuit with Sequins top

I also paired the green v-neck sweater and sequins top from above with the most flattering pleated skirt that’s under $35! Definitely TTS.

The last look I put together was this super cute button up blouse with pearl like beading on the collar. This top gave me major heart eyes and can be worn so many other ways after NYE. It’s TTS and a little sheer, so be conscious of what you wear underneath. This skirt was perfect with the top and you can either pair black heels with it or have black tights on and booties together (which would be my choice for sure with this outfit). The skirt still is not available online, just in stores.
